Kiln Dried Silver Birch Logs

One of the most attractive of logs due to its silvery, flakey bark. Burns with a nice bright flame, but will burn quite quickly.

Because Silver Birch logs are less dense than ash logs, silver birch logs provide slightly more heat quicker and is ideal if you are just using your fire for a few hours in the evening or at the weekends.

Your log burner or open fire will get hotter quicker and the room you are heating will get up to temperature very quickly.

Kiln Dried Ash Firewood Logs

Ash is known to be one of the best, if not the best hardwood available for firewood. It lights easily and it produces great amounts of heat

Ash logs have low moisture content when green, but still need to be well seasoned or kiln dried before burning. Our Kiln dried Ash logs have moisture content of 20% or less.

You will find that Ash logs are a little harder to light than Silver Birch, but burn for longer with a bright clean flame

The main advantage of kiln dried logs is that they are ready to burn at any time of year. They don't need to be seasoned before they can be used. Also, Kiln dried logs burn hotter and for longer than any other wood rival, producing a higher heat for a much longer time.
